        Frequently Asked Questions

***** I cannot guarantee results for ANYONE. There is one $125 touch up 6-8 weeks after microblading procedure, but some people require an additonal touch to get the desired result, and will be charged accordingly. Microblading is not intended to replace makeup but to enhance ones natural brow and beauty.****

What is Microblading?

Microblading and Cosmetic tattooing is the process of micro-pigmentation, which is done by implanting pigment beneath the surface of the skin. I use tiny, sterile, disposable needles to create the appearance of hair strokes, natural makeup, or an enhancement of the client's existing features.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years or older to receive a cosmetic tattoo.

What if I get a cosmetic tattoo if I am pregnant, or breastfeeding?
I can not tattoo pregnant or nursing mothers. Just to be safe!

Can I get botox/ fillers before appointment?

You may get botox/ fillers 4 weeks before appointment and 4 weeks after.

Does Microblading or cosmetic tattooing hurt?

I use a combination of very effective anesthetics that are selected based on your specific procedure. It's my goal to make the client as comfortable as possible with each service. However, each person has a different level of pain tolerance. Usually minimum to mild discomfort.

What can I expect during my appointment?
During your initial consultation, I will discuss the treatment in its entirety. We will agree on the most complimentary shape, color, thickness, and density that you wish to have. Optimal results are always our goal. Again, there is no guarantee of any specific outcome being how this will vary by person.

What should I do before my eyebrow tattoo appointment?
Bring in photos that show the shape and color you prefer. You may also come in with your eyebrows filled in as you normally would do, and we can meet in the middle. If you regularly wax, shape, thread, or tint your eyebrows, please do so at least 3 days before your procedure appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please do not take any blood thinning medications (Aspirin, Ibuprofen) within 24 hours of your appointment. Alcoholic & caffeinated beverages should not be consumed the night before, or the day of your appointment. Refrain from using Retinol products for 2 weeks prior to appointment, Please also avoid sun and tanning bed exposure 30 days before, and 30 days after your procedure.  If you are getting lip blush please contact your doctor for an antiviral if you experience cold sores to prevent breakout the day of procedure.

What if I bring my child to my appointment?

I cannot allow your children to be present during the time of your appointment. If you are 15 minutes late I will have to reschedule the appointment.

What is the best skin type for Microblading?

Typically the best skin types are dry to normal skin. The strokes will heal more crisp. Oily skin types will have a more "blurred" healing effect in which I recommend a Soft Powder Brow, or Shaded Brow tattoo. Large pores are also an indicator that Microblading may not be for you. Mature skin that is thinner is also an indication of considering Shaded style over Microblading. Powder brow is a good option for all different skin types. This effect creates a powdery makeup filled appearance.

How often will I need a Touch Up?

Touch ups are recommended every 6 months to 1 year. However it is per person as to when they are ready for their next touch up. After initial session and follow up if you want a 3rd session I usually wait 6 months (at least) for the skin to regenerate, I am always looking out for the safety of the client and wanting to maintain healthy skin as my first priority.
